Klenzegen exists to explain differences between bicycle types and to document how cycling sport and everyday riding developed in Germany. We are not a bike shop checkout page disguised as a magazine. Our pages are written for readers who want context before they buy, travel, or train.

How articles get made
The editorial process
Ride and research first
Every guide starts from the surfaces around us — Brandenburg sand, Berlin connectors, and the routes German riders actually use — plus published sources on law, infrastructure, and sport history. If we have not experienced a category or region ourselves, we say so.
Write for decisions, not clicks
Each article must answer a real question a rider faces: which bike, which region, which habit. We cut anything that reads like a press release. Specifics — tyre widths, legal classes, seasonal windows — beat adjectives every time.
Correct openly
When readers flag an error, we fix the article and note the change. Corrections go to [email protected] and are treated as a favour, not a nuisance.
